Amazon UAE Seller Guide: How to Start Selling in 2026

Everything a new seller needs to register, list and launch products on Amazon.ae.

Amazon.ae has grown into one of the most important sales channels for brands across the GCC, and getting your seller account set up correctly from day one saves months of avoidable friction later. This guide walks through registration, the decisions that matter early, and what to focus on in your first 90 days.

1. Choose the right account type

Amazon UAE offers Individual and Professional selling plans. Almost every brand serious about growth should register as Professional — it unlocks advertising, the Buy Box, and bulk listing tools that the Individual plan restricts.

2. Documents you need before you start

You will need a valid trade license, VAT registration (if applicable), bank account details for payouts, and a brand-owner authorization if you are not the manufacturer. Having these ready before you begin registration avoids the most common approval delays.

3. Build listings that are ready for both search and ads

A listing built only to "look complete" underperforms. Titles, bullet points and backend keywords should be built around actual buyer search terms, informed by keyword research — not guesswork — since this same listing becomes the foundation your PPC campaigns compete on.

4. Plan your first 90 days

The first quarter should focus on getting reviews, stabilizing PPC at a sustainable ACOS, and monitoring the Buy Box daily. Brands that treat the first 90 days as a controlled launch — rather than a "set it and forget it" listing upload — consistently outperform later.
